Family Library Nights are special evenings where students and their families can share the love of reading with each other. Students may check out up to 5 extra books and the computers are available for use as well.  If you need help with homework, we can do that too!  You don’t have to stay the whole time, but you can! A big thank you to our PTA for funding our Library Nights.  BEST OF ALL, EVERY CHILD PICKS OUT A FOREVER BOOK TO TAKE HOME!  At 6:10 PM, we will have a story time with a related craft or activity !Please bring a grown-up!

(Future dates for first semester  Library Nights include: 11-15, 11-27, 12-4, 12-11)

Birthday Book Club is a great opportunity to honor your student’s special day, as well as help the school by donating a book to the library! For a donation of $15, your student will get to pick out a new hardcover book from our special Birthday Book Club shelves, have their picture taken for display in the front hallway outside the library, and be featured on the morning broadcast announcing their birthday and the book they’ve chosen to donate to the library. A sticker will be placed inside the cover of the book with the student’s name and birth date so everyone knows who to thank for the addition of the great, new book! And finally, your student will get to pick out a birthday Spirit Stick that is only available through Birthday Book Club. For more information you can contact the library at 512-428-7411

Word of the Week (WOW)

This week’s word is “integrity”. It is a noun that means to be honest and have strong principles. Partner with us in focusing on our campus WOW. Ask your student to use the word in a sentence or perhaps you could be very intentional in your use of our word. Thanks for your participation!
