It’s Hip to Be Aware at DFT!

DFT students and staff celebrated Digital Citizenship Week by dressing up according to daily themes, including how to stay safe online, stopping cyberbullying by being an “upstander” rather than a bystander, rights to creative work and giving credit, and finding balance between our digital and other activities.

Tuesday’s theme was “It’s hip to be aware” of our digital footprints, so we dressed “hip” wearing everything from flowers in our hair to bell sleeves and go-go boots.

We’re asking everyone to really think about what you post and the places you visit on the internet. Remember, everywhere you go online, everything you post, and everything others post about you leaves a trail called your digital footprint. Make sure your footprint tells a positive story!
