We are entering a season of holiday traditions and celebrations for many families at DFT — Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and New Year’s celebrations are just a few! We’d like to invite your child to help us honor and celebrate traditions from various cultures during the last two weeks of school before the winter break. Daily themes are:
Monday, 11th – Kwanzaa – Wear read, green, and black!
Tuesday, 12th – Hanukkah – Wear blue, white, and silver!
Wednesday, 13th – Frosty, the Snowman – Wear white shirts and red scarves. Top hats, optional!
Thursday, 14th – Elf Yourself! – Come dressed as Santa’s most helpful little helper!
Friday, 15th – The Polar Express – Wear your favorite warm pajamas!
Monday, 18th – Grinch Day – Wear green… and your favorite Santy-Claus hat
Tuesday, 19th – I’m the Gingerbread Man! – Run, run as fast as you can – dress as a character from the Gingerbread Man.
Wednesday, 20th – Reindeer Day – Brown shirts and reindeer antlers are welcome!
Thursday, 21st – Ugly Sweater Day – Come ready to celebrate – classroom parties begin at 1:30 p.m.!
