DFT – BotBall Challenge

DFT students recently had the opportunity to participate in a district BotBall Challenge event. More than 200 students from Round Rock ISD and Austin ISD practiced their coding skills to solve BotBall robotics challenges in small groups.

In order for students to transfer and apply the information and skills they learn in school, they must be able to use that knowledge in a way that is meaningful to them. With BotBall, students use science, technology, engineering, math, and writing skills to design, build, program, and document robots in hands-on projects that reinforce their learning.
